I'm having problems on games that i have burnt and when playing half way through or three quaters I get a dirty disc or damage disc screen come up.Has anyone come across this problem and also might have a solution???

Considering you can play the game half way through it's not the game or the burn thats the problem. Only thing i can see is that your xbox laser is going, thats a common problem with older drives, do you know what make of drive is in there? if it's thomson i wouldn't be suprised.

if u can play burnt games that means u have a modded or softmodded xbox if i was u i would upgrade the hdd and copy the game straight to the xboxs hdd and play them off there. cause if what snooper uk said about the dvd rom is true then i would just play them off the hdd plus the games load way faster that way.

Clear Your Cache. and set the correct time in the MS Dashboard.
also..what drive is it that you have?

or u can get a power splitter and add a pc dvd drive on it..im having the same problem so im gonna add my own drive to it...but it can only play burnt games on them as far as i heard(not originals).let me find u a link to it.

Not sure what dvd drive you have, but if you have the nerve to try it, you could possibly do a pot tweak on the drive. There is a tutorial for both the philips and thompson drives in the repair section at http://www.llamma.com
