Hi all,
I am having issues with playing dvd-rs with divx files/media files through XBMP and was very much hoping someone could shed some light on the best format for creating a Dvd-r with media files on it that I can play direct from the D: drive.
Should it be mode 1/mode 2/xa? Do I have to name things in a certain way???

In case it helps: Dvd media ive been trying to use is imation 4x dvd-r burnt at 4x using Nero smart start. My xbox is exector 2 with exo x and 120gig.

Any help is much appreciated!!!!!

Depends what burning software you have, i am in the same situation as you with dvd-r's for xbmp, i just burn mine in nero 6 - dvd-rom(iso) and I don't change any settings. Never had any issues with discs not reading, it could be your laser going? How long have you had your xbox and do you know what drive is in there?
