I just installed a DMS4 pro chip in to my V4 Ps2 and it won't play backup games, DVD or CD-r. When you put the game in it says insert a Playstation 2 format game. It will played burned copies of movies on DVD. I used Alcohol 120 at a 1x. COuld it be that I still didn't copy it right or is there a problem with one of my connections.

Also if I start eh PS2 up normally and don't hit any buttons on the controller the screen stays blank. I have to hit square or select, etc. in order to start the PS2

sorry I dont have an answer for you, but im looking to buy a PS2 with one of these chips.... where can I buy the chip solderless? or can I buy a ps2 with chip already in it?
