I have the PnP no sod chip installed and I boot the SM DVD disk. I get to the load program screen and hit eject... the disk pops out and on the screen it says to insert a larger TOC disk. I put in Devil May Cry and the disk goes in and it says Refresh TOC on the screen for a few secs and then goes back to the SM Load Program screen. This time it says "insert your own program...", but when I hit eject, it says "insert a larger TOC disk" again!

Why is it not setting the TOC? I assume that is the problem. If I ignore the second message that tells me to insert a larger TOC disk and insert the backup, then it goes back to the SM Load Program screen and says that it is not a valid PS2 disk.

Anyone have any idea what is happening?

U either need a SLide card or a Ps2 Filptop cover
the reason it says that is because the ps2 knows when u open the disc tray but with the Flitop lid or the Slide tool the ps2 doesnt detect anything
i have the filptop lid i havent used the slide tool
u can get the flip top lid at.... e-mail me for it i dont think i can give u a link for it on the forums

You for sure need a Slidecard or Fliptop!
