I remember my friend used to have a program like "Orange PC" or something like 4 or 5 yeras ago that allowed him to play PC games like tomb raider? Any help would be appriciated, i just want to know a program that will play games well.

I remember an Orange PC PCI card that was a hardware/software solution, it was a PC on a PCI card that you could use.
Try eBay for one.

It'll really depend on what you're going to run. If you're just gonna play some old-skool Tomb Raider or whatever, an OrangePC 166 card should handle things well.

Other than that, you have to consider that the price of some of these Windows emulator packages / hardware is so bloody expensive that it's worth it to buy a cheap PC box instead and just use that. :P Plus, we won't even start on the stability / compatibility issues. :)

It really depends on what kind of games you want to play. Starcraft? Sure, get a PC-on-a-card. Newer stuff? Buy a PC with a decent 3D card and go from there.

(Edit - never mind, you've already got VPC5. Noticed your other post. Install that, run it under OS9 - trust me, it's better like this - or OSX in fullscreen mode, and play your PC games.)

I have virtual PC 4 on a G4 with 400mhz & 192Megs and I can run games like roller coaster tycoon with no problem. I tried installing Monopolly tycoon and the computer would freeze up. If I want to play PC game I try to look for MHZ requirements that are equall to roller coaster. I have not tried playing games on Virtual PC 5 which is OSX compatible.

i used VP4 on an oold style imac, but depsite looking and running just liek a PC - found i could never really load anyuthing - far too slow, and it would hang all the time (mor so than a real PC hahahahah! :) ) i like the suggestion f buying a cheap pc - or do what i did bought a nice PSone that plays backups - much more fun!
