Hi , ive down loadedquite a few karaoke disks from my ftp server and whilst trying to convert the mp3 and cdg files to bin using mp3-g 4 tools it keeps saying an unhandled exception has occured then further dwn it says access to the path is denied ?

any ideas

I've had problems with MP3+GToolz 4.0. Version 3.0 seems to work fine.

Download MP3+GToolz 3.0 from this link:

Uninstall Version 4.0, and then install 3.0.

I've been hearing from other people that they're having problems with MP3+GToolz period...all versions. I didn't have any problems until version 4.0, and that was only bin to zip. I'm wondering if it's a case of software conflicts?

is there any other way of converting them ? as i have a few to do and get same errors on them ?

finally sorted it buddy after looking through posts on karoke playground ,its because all the extensions are in caps this a copy of traxmasters answer to the problem
try this create a folder on your c drive called

C:\KARTEST

Make sure it is in the root directory.

Copy all the files you need into this folder

Go into msdos and follow these commands in order followed by enter make sure you enter the spaces as they are:

Here Goes:

cd c:\kartest
rename *.MP3 *.mp3
rename *.CDG *.cdg
attrib *.* -r -a -s -h
exit

NO probs mate, sharing info's whats it all about , i did think that id have more than ureself helping me out though .Thought id have to delete everything id dwn loaded lol and thank god i havnt , still got to convert about 60 ish folders though but it doesnt take long and i doubt me daughter will even want any of the sunfly gold series .
