Well my Plextor 716a came today and I was able to copy a cdg using the Plextools as you suggested. THANK YOU!! I also tried to copy a scdg using the roxio easy media creator 7, I dont know if that worked because I didn't get my cavs202g yet .I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Now for another question, what exactlly do I have to do to extract certain songs off a cdg to make a self-compiled one? I attempted it but all I got was music, no graphics.
Your help is truly appreciated,Irish-Lass :wavey:

download audiograbber 1.83 and put a cd in your drive and in the list put a tick next to the song you want to extract and in the CD tab next to the file tab choose the grab cdg(karaoke) option.
or use the newest version of cdrwin.
hope it helps.

Am I supposed to be able to complete the whole process of extracting and copying with the audiograbber alone?

Jasev is correct, thanks man...I'll expand.

First:

Place your CD+G original disk into your PX-716A

Open Audiograbber

All of the tracks on the CD+G disk will show up in the Audiograbber window with checkboxes next to them. Choose the tracks you want to burn by checking the appropriate boxes.

Click on CD on the top taskbar

Click on Grab CDG Tracks (karaoke)

On the flyout menu, click on grab to .bin.

Audiograbber will then start to convert your chosen CD+G files to bin files. When finished go to your conversion destination folder. The default location will be C: Audiograbber (if you loaded Audiograbber on C:, if not it will be X: Audiograbber with X: being the drive where Audiograbber is loaded.)

You now need to create a cue file:

http://www.powerkaraoke.net/download/powercuecreatorsetup.exe

Once you've created the cue file, use Easy Media Creator 7 Classic to burn your disk:

At main menu, go to:

Copy files to disk, then Burn from disk image file

Choose the folder where the cue file you've created is located.
Follow on screen instructions.

CDRWIN is easier to use, because it does everything, but will only record at 1X, unless you purchase a license. If you want to use CDRWin, go to:

www.goldenhawk.com Go to the download section, and download CDRWin Ver. 3.9K. Also, download the user's manual. It's in pdf format so you'll need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. Check out Chapter 9 of the CDRWin manual.

Good luck!
