I have a broken thompson with the infamous errors. I was wondering if I should get another thompson as a replacement or go for the samsung. Cost is a bit of an issue, but if the samsung is far superior, well then, i guess it's worth it.

If you have the extra cash, by all means get the Samsung. When it comes to reading different types of media, it is by far the best. Have I mentioned that I like the Samsung drive yet??
