I used hddriver to make a hard drive image, and it works for a normal xbox hd 8 gig, then i tried it on a 200 gig hd, and when i tried to restore the image, it onlt restored the frist 2 partions, the c and e, and left the f drive blank. the file i am restoring it with is 200 gigs. can only one tell me how to make a backup of large hd. :madhack:

If your xbox is already modified, ftp into your xbox, transfer the f drive to your pc. If there is too much data on the f drive, then I don't think you could. But if you do have the space, transfer the f drive, build your new xbox drive with the image that you have and then ftp the f drive back after getting the f drive setup.

Are you trying to set it up to where if you build a new drive, every thing is copied at once? Not to sure if you can, but if anybody that has anything your more than welcome because I might need to do this same thing soon! :)

who doesn't know about ftp, how you think the stuff got into the f drive in the 1st place. i know how to ftp, i am tring to dump, the whole 200 gig HD, into 1 image file then restore it to anther HD same model number, it takes a long time ftping 200 gigs, it would take under 2 hour to restore from image. i am going to try winhex. only reply if you know what i am taking about. :madhack:
