HI, my xbox is modded and i have been able to copy a few xbox games allready. But i have had a problem with sonic heroes, the size of the files once i have done with the ftp is 4.8gb can anyone tell me how to get it so it fits on a dvd -r please.

look in the root of the game folder and see if you have these files:
dashupdate.xbe, update.xbe, or downloader.xbe. if so, you can safely delete those and might bring it down enough to fit. The forums at xbox-scene has several tutorials on cutting some stuff out of games to fit them onto a 4.7 gb disc.

dashupated.xbe would be the one to remove, it is the biggest one.

if there are Demo games on the disc you could delete them too, and the updatedash.xbe file

does any one no what files are safe to take out of the path of neo to get it down to 4.7 gig its 5.2 at the moment. thanx.
