I rip my cdg's to cdg + mp3's with audiograbber. Works pretty good except I get odd characters on the screen with graphis. Like blocks or symbols, and once they show up in that track they stay till the end of that track. My problem must be in extracting them, when I play them back before I burn them I see this as well as after I burn them. Can anybody suggest why this is happening, or what I need to do to get a clean rip of them.
thx

If you see this on your original tracks before you convert, they are most likely scratched disks. Are there parts of the lyrics graphic missing or an odd color? If so you have scratched disks or copies made from scratched disks.
The graphics are more sensitive to scratches than the audio. If you have the original disk, you may be able to fix it by polishing with a disk repair kit. I find the 3M/Imation kit to be one of the best for fixing this. If the label side of the disk is scratched (hold it up to light, if you can see through, it's bad), this can not be repaired.

once you have ripped the discs repair them with a very in-expensive and easy to use bit of kit called CDGFIX , created by one of this forums longest serving members http://www.cdgfix.com/ for details
