I have resurrected many lasers that way. Make sure you clean BOTH lenses to make it work though.. AceVentura Apr 15, 2005, 07:51 PM thx, done that. I need a replacement. Anybody got any links to a inexpensive replacement laser site. Thanks hessajee Apr 24, 2005, 04:07 PM Hello! What is exactly wrong with the lasers and what steps have you taken to TRY and repair the lasers? I will be able to help you. Thanks! AceVentura Apr 24, 2005, 11:29 PM The lasers are bad. Both lenses have been cleaned and the POTs have been adjusted with no luck. I need a 400c replacement. Just trying to find a place to pick up a new laser. Thanks, ghost2_fitter Apr 25, 2005, 04:39 AM check out ebay, there are usually tons on there mate 4SKIN Apr 25, 2005, 04:42 AM hey ghost fitter??, i see you fit ps2 mods?? i dont want one fitted myself, but a contact always comes in handy, got any details??? hessajee Apr 25, 2005, 04:18 PM Hello! Are you any good with soldering? If so, then you will not have to buy a whole new laser! If your laser can still read Audio/PS1/PS2 Blue Discs, then you are in a chance of repairing the laser for a cheap price! What you need to do is change the PCB of the laser, which I sell for £10 each. For currency conversion, please go to: www.xe.com/ucc Thanks! |
