This message was also posted in the Legacy Games section where I'm sure it really belongs, but I was worried there wouldn't be much traffic in that forum and no one would see my question. I have searched rather thoroughly for an answer, but I keep coming up short, so hopefully someone will help me out.

I downloaded Legend of Mana for the PSOne and burned it twice. The first time I burned it, it was using the bin/cue format, the next time was with img/ccd/sub. Both burned copies loaded up from the CDROM in ePSXe and after tweaking with plugins, got them to run pretty much how they should. However when I tried booting them up in my slim PSTwo (Breaker Pro and ghost case (ghost case is a case with ghost switches already built in) ) it just hangs at Breaker Pro's "booting game..." screen. I've read about patching the game and I'm prepared to figure out how to do that, but I want to know if it is necessary or if I am doing something wrong with the burning process. The bin/cue version was burned using Nero and the obviously the ccd/img/sub version was burned with CloneCD (both at my minimum write speed). I know it isn't the most current game, but I'm confused and the what I could find on the net was not overly clear or helpful. Verbatim CD-Rs, btw. NEC 3520A.

Yes several other PSOne games are booting fine. But I think the problem may be related to Breaker Pro and this specific game running on PSTwo. Maybe I will try to get a hold of an original PSX and give it a try.
