Hi

I am looking at buying a new 19" LCD monitor to replace my Compaq P720 17" CRT monitor, but I could do with some suggestions on what to look for.

I want to try and keep it under the £200 mark and have been looking at the Acer AL1912S AND AL1913S models, one has a lower response rate, but the other has a higher contrast ratio. Which is better?

I would also concider a different brand, but it need to be black and silver.

This has had some mixed reviews but overall good.

For the cheap route,Try ecost dot com. They have some 19"ers sometimes with 3 year guarantee around $230
