Mad Dawg May 10, 2005, 03:13 PM I have just reloaded Windows XP Home, into a friends pc.
We loaded Nero 6.0. (after a few attempts)
when we tried to burn a disc "Another application is using this device" error came up.
i went to task manager and closed all the programs running in the back ground. same error.
I even removed the items from start up using MSCONFIG.
Re-started the PC and tried again.
Same error.
Anyone know where I might be going wrong.
It is a TIME PC and the windows XP is the one that came with the PC.
Cheers & Beers in advance.

Mad Dawg May 12, 2005, 02:24 PM Just got a phone call off me mate.
He was only looking at the service status.
I told him to right click and select properties, and select disable.
IT WORKED.
He also disabled it in the hardware profile.
Cheers Nuttapper for your help and Insomniac for lurking in the background.LOL
Cheers & beers
