I just got my cd burner it's a memorex ultra speed.
Here is the problem-When trying to put on disc music I have down loaded this happens about 50% of the time.

I get a message that says burn process failed at 52x(7,800 kb/s.

For example
I burn 80 minutes of music the first time let's say it burned fine, but the next time, the same music will burn then part way through the above message shows up.

What do I need to do? :madhack:

this might seem like a no-brainer reply but this has happen to me.

when that happened i tried burning it at a slower speed and it worked fine. i always use 16x. not as fast as 52x but i don't mind waiting.

i also heard that it could be dust on the blank cd or maybe even the laser. and also a scratch cd would give you that message.

Sounds like a buffer issue - find some docs for buffer underrun to solve.
