When trying to burn an mpeg2 onto a DVD-R I am using CUCUSOFT MPEG to DVD author. The problem is...it is only recognizing my cd rom and not my DVD rom. Why is this? Why don't I have an option to choose the DVD rom in the drop down menu? Is there a way to do this?

Where you say dvd-rom, i assume you mean a dvd-writer of some sort? Have you checked the software's homepage/support page, not familiar with it myself.

Sorry can't be more help, but others may be able to help better if you specify make and model of drive. Can you use other burning software with that drive etc.
