Clone CD Settings [; ; winXP]

ive read many things, tried many settings, but i have never ever actually managed to create a 1:1 without needing a crack/patch

is there any general clonecd settings for me to try?

Go to gamecopyworld.com and check their thing on "Burnign a Protected CD" It will have the settings you need to make a 1:1 copy.

ahhh well who needs pc games anyway? i prefer to play without the need for a disc too :)

Well no copy is 1:1 unless it was pressed. A burner doesn't burn every byte of data correcty. Over 10 megabytes may be errors, and you'll never know.

There is no general settings for any game as they are all different, I use clonecd and always scan the disc with clonyxl before burning and use the suggested setting and so far (touch wood) havent had the need to patch any game,

i just cant do it, like i said playing without CD's is my style :)

ive tried max payne and can never clone it... clony XL i found in english after downloading about 3 cherman versions.

still dont happpen!

SafeDisc2 is almost as much hardware as it is software.. You must have the right hardware and software to make working 1:1 copies.

am I the only person who has no trouble burning. I haven't found a computer game yet I couldn't burn yet on my TDK 8x VeloCD burner. MaxPayne, The Sims, Simcity 3000, Madden, all burned properly with no problem and the only one I needed a file for was Madden which I never played. Other than that all the other games installed and played just like the original.

A 16/10/40 Liteon is not capable of copying SD2 Games no matter what settings you use.

The 24 speed Liteon AND the 12 speed will copy SD2 but not the 16 speed.


You're much better off the way you are, getting the NOCD patch, at least you don't have to fanny about with disks everytime you want to play a game.
