ive been having troubles with my dvd rom drive. When ever i put in a cd eather a music or software cd it will not reconize it. I got the latest firm ware for it and my bio's reconizes it so its deffinitly there and working. But when i put a cd in and go to my computer it says there is no cd in my drive. My cd rw works fine though. I did some things like clear my NVRAM. And reconfigure my drives in the setup menu when i restart. My cdrw works fine. Also when i put the cd in it goes in and it dosnt appear to try and read it. Like it dosnt spin. And i cant hear it. any ideas?

Easiest thing to do is try it in someone else`s PC and see if it works. If it does, then there`s a problem in your system and you`ll need to give us more info. If it doesn`t work elsewhere then it`s knackered and you want a new one.
