Strange problem... all of a sudden, my pc will not accept any usb storage devices anymore. Memory sticks, camera's... nothing works... aaaargh...!

I tried the "add new hardware" option in control panel, which eventually comes up with this message:

Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

what can i do???

You didnt say which OS your running.

BUT

Go to device manager and delete the USB Serial Bus controller and attached devices in order then reboot it should find them all okay.

Their is a limit to devices on some machines worth reading a manual...
