My spare comp stop working this morning. Turned it on cam up with options to start in safe mode, normally etc. Any option i choose the computer is really slow to start and when it does it gets to the windows xp screen just b4 the desktop is shown then just reboots and the same thing happens again and again.

512 mb sdram

nvidia graphics card

etc etc

Windows Xp Sp2



Haven't installed or un-installed any programmes recently the only thing I've done is install some updates.

Did you just install SP2??

Sounds like a bad hard drive to me.
