got a dvd film but its 6.5gb tryed using dvd shrink but it fails on 23% ive got anydvd i have got 8.5gb blank discs so it will fit on them but what would i use now to burn it onto the disc??as i say dvd shrink fails so im stuck has anybody got any suggestions

The latest Nero will burn dual layers. However, try this first ...rip and decrypt with DVD Decrypter and then shrink with Shrink.

Get DVD Decrypter from www.afterdawn.com.
It should be able to rip the video to your HD as an ISO image & you can then burn it to DVD with this program as well.
Posted at virtually the same time as Tom Croydon's post.
If you're burning to DL media there should be no need to shrink the movie unless you want to remove extras etc.

hi tryed dvd decryped and try to shrink it and dvd shrink come up with an error???

The DVD Hitch is causing loads of problems for people trying to back it up.
It's got Sony Archos protection & depending on the region code the protection is different.
As I understand it the latest version of Anydvd will cope. Maybe the freeware DVD43 might also do it. http://www.dvd43.com/

thanks tim ive tryed dvd decrypter and it put it down to 6.5gb dvd shrink dont wont to know it so will try the latest anydvd many thanks mate

Try AnyDVD and Clone DVD m8, it worked on the film Layer Cake which has the same potection.
