I was looking into getting a 6800GT, but I can't afford to pick up one of the bigger names like BFG right now. There seems to be a huge price difference between it and the Albatron and Apollo (about $80). Is there that much of a difference between them? Should I wait until the price goes down on the more brand name models, or should I go ahead and get the Albatron or Apollo? Any input would be appreciated.

Have you thought of a 6600 chip instead?

It will give you 80-90% of the power at 30% of the price.

As far as different brands, there generally isn't a great deal of difference.

I would be inclined to take into account things like price, connectivity options on the card, warranty, and bundled items etc.
