Hi,

I am needing major help selecting an external??? cd burner. I have a dell computer that I bought last year, but I didn't choose to have a cd burner put in it at the time.

I'm not sure exactly what I need. I want to get something where I can save pictures and files from my computer. I'd like to burn cds as well.

Can anyone recommend a brand etc for me to buy? I'd like to get something that includes everything that I need. I was told about an external one. Please give me suggestions. Thanks.

Just about any burner will do what you want, however I would recommend a LiteOn.

They are cheap, reliable, and can burn almost anything.

Agreed, Liteon are a great drive, they make em for a few other manufacturers.

Although Id always suggest getting an interenal drive installed, for ease, I have a USB2 drive from Asus. Im not from the states, but im sure youll find one over there.
