ok well sort of... I'm going to build a PC not buy one whole.

My old pc is starting to act up and I want to get a new one but being the fact that I haven't kept up with the PC scene in a long time (a little more than a year) I am confused in which parts to get so I need help in buying parts..

If you guys were going to spend no more than $1500 on parts (not needing keyboard, mouse, external parts) what parts would you buy?

Thanks in advance...

Id buy from Dell.com/tv cause they only cost about $299+ now & I can put my own parts in it & never have to reactivate XP.... XP full costs about $120, so quite a savings. U mite find some on Ebay.

I would purchase a motherboard that can accomodate the new AMD chip with dual-core and ATI video card... The new Longhorn os is comming out soon and it will run good with at least the AMD-64 athlon
