Hi all. I need a recommendation for a video recording prog which gives me the option to pause recording. I currently have Win DVR and Ulead DVD Movie Factory Disk Creator. Win DVR is crap as the audio on my recordings are not in sync with the video no matter what my settings are...and I have absolutely no intentions of editing the video to get A/V sync. Ulead does a great job recording and the A/V is synced up…but…I can’t pause recording. Is there a really good recording prog which will give me the ability to pause recording and also record in a variety of formats e.g. DVD, VCD, SVCD formats/resolutions? I need help here people! Thanks.

I've got Premiere Pro but I've never installed it. I'll give it a try first and move onto the rest. Thanks for the info.
