i have just built a system out of spare parts includin a msi 6157 mainbord with on board sound + graphics.the sound chip is a creative es1371 and i downloaded the correct driver from creatives web site.
when i was installing the driver it told me that midi was disabled and it could not load this part of the driver and midi output is not available.
i have no conflicts in device manager and it seems to be installed ok but i get the same message every time i start the pc.
i have looked in the bios but cant find anything to do with midi.
any help appreciated.
