I have a question, is there anyway to play backups with HdAdvance 2.0?

Reason is, my original games are pretty scratched and Hdadvance wont read all of them, so I was wondering if I could download them ( Its not piracy if you have the real game) and burn them to a DVD+R then get HDadvance to read them? My Hdadvance also came with a slide card so maybe theres something I could do with that.
