Hi need to know if pc dead,
press power on button sounds like fan starting cd light blinks then it all
dies no boot screen or anything power light stops on if I hold it in long enough
it goes out, after doing this 5 or 6 times it sometimes boots and runs nornal.
anyone know if its the processor on way out or power supply poss? any help
would be greatfully recieved

mine would do the same thing when i had the BUS speed set too high.

1/ Check the cooling fan on the CPU first I have had them die and exhibit the same symptoms.
2/ Replace the PSU with a known good one.
