Can anybody help me with this? I have cable modem (road runners) and digital cable TV through Time Warner (NYC). I have a tv tuner in my computer. Currently I have a three-way split of the cable that comes into my apartment, one goes to my cable box, one to my cable modem, and the third directly to my computre (i.e. before the modem and cable box).
I can currently watch network channels on my computer, but the reception is not the best. If I want cable in my computer its my understanding that I have two options; (1) gen another cable box to conect before my computer, or (2) split the cable out from my cable box and send it back to my computer but then I can only watch the same channel as on my tv(?).
You would think that there must be a way to get the cable directly in my computer, i.e. some software that would let me use my computer as a cable box. Does anybody know?
