Hello

I have a Samsung V20 laptop (2003), windows XP. Been working fine, but tried to install a programme from CD ROM this weekend but nothing is happening. CD drive seems to click but not fully spin.

Tried audio CD (originals and copies) same problem - nothing happens and Windows explorer crashes.

Tried a CD RW with some digital photos stored on it and it read without a problem.

Recently installed some spyware from online - would this have affected the drivers? Can't see how though...

Any ideas anyone??
PS Obviously I'm no expert so please not too much jargon!
