I am a newbie. I have never done DVD copying before. I have a question.

What I want to do is edit DVD and create a new DVD with just some of my favorite scenes.

I have a DVD/VHS recorder and so I plan to transfer DVD content to VHS (selectively) and back to DVD.

I can' do so now because of copy protection.

I plan to overcome this by making a copy of the DVD and using that instead of the original.

I'm making a copy using a decoder on the back ground to overcome CSS copy protection and using ICOPYDVD2 to make the copy.

the question is - Does the copy of the DVD still has copy protection?

I would appreciate if somebody could answer this question
