i knocked my ps2 over, now the disk drive wont eject, i then opened it up to see if i could fix it , couldnt find the problem ,then i put it back together, now both the reset button & the disk drive button wont work it stays on stanby, can any body help please?

Check and make sure the ribbon is all the way connected and inplace. Then make sure everything is tightly connected as far as the buttons and what not. also your disk tray might be off the rail if you push eject and it wont eject, just makes a noise. Thats a pain to fix but its not too complicated, you can figure it out just by looking at the bottom of the disk tray and the rail and motor. Just gotta get it exactly right before it slides in correctly... took me like an hour just to replace my nephew's disk tray that i had to repair.

thanks tsumavoc, opened ps2 up again , noticed the ribbon was torn, bought a new one off ebay , replaced it, ps2 is working fine now, thanks again
