Hi everyone,

Just wanted to find out what freeware is available to use that would allow me to burn excel spreadsheet data on to CD R as a read only file and not allow the person who is authorized to view the data from copying data or burning data to data CD? I'm new at this and would like to know how I can protect the data. I know how to protect the data as a workbook or as individual worksheets within excel program. Need information quick! HELP PLS!

just protect the sheet prior to burning it to CDR, then close the disc, so it cannot be writen to, if the spread sheet is copied to a PC, because its password protected it cannot be altered.

if you want to make it so the spreadsheet cannot be viewed by anyone ?? just zip the file and password protect it
