Out of the blue my Nec5100 dvdrw drive in my Dell D800 Laptop has stopped working. It shows up ok in device manager, ejects ok but will not see the contents of either CDs or DVDs, as a last ditch attempt to fix it i even flashed the drive with latest bios which it accepted ok but it still will not see cds or dvds.
Any help appreciated
