yeah hacking the firmware for the 360 isn't as easy as it sounds thats why they rendered it useless for the beginer hackers... it is possible but its a hard task..

actually, someone who has nothing whatsoever to do with the project has done it. Can't remember who, but he has the guide on his website and pictures of him completing the hack.

no need to prove anything to me, I don't even own a 360, I've just been keeping an eye on the scene... I've never been one who can't admit when he's wrong, I've seen the tut you refer to, and still say that the average person can't do it. this guy built his own adapter...how many people here have the ability to do that?

well, the firmware hack is out in the wild now, just got to get a dual layer dvd burner, and a 360 now!
