been looking around and it appears as though it is pretty easy to upgrade the Xbox's hard drive as long as you have a desktop computer.

I, however, only have a laptop. Is there anyway to upgrade the hard drive by using a laptop?

it would be possible, but you need an adapter that would allow your laptopo to boot a pc hard drive... I know there is one that will allow the reverse, but haven't seen one that will allow a laptop to use a desktop hd. If you find one, all you need to do is dump the contents of your xbox hd inot xboxhdm burn it to a disc, and start up the laptop with the hd to be upgraded, and follwo the steps to clone the drive.
