Please help.
I have a Sony FS515E laptop and after I reinstalled Win XP my DVD doesn’t work properly. It is very slow I am trying to copy files from it and its starts blocking the system. The thing is that now even if I am listening a mp3 file from my hard drive the processor its starts working at 100 % power and eventually the system blocks again.
Could anybody give me a hand with this problem?

It could be a few things, but most likely motherboard or chipset drivers.

XP only contains generic drivers which may not as advanced as manufacturer's drivers.

Did you install the Sony drivers or not?


I looked on the US Sony support site, and they don't list a FS515E?
