I wonder if anyone can shed some light please. I backed up some images from an old computer using the standard inCD recording software - this always records data fine. When i recorded some images from a friends pc using his Nero burning software onto this CD, the original images folder disappeared and became inaccesible. I wondered if they had been overwritten in any way but logic tells me it is a CD-R, therefore impossible.

Does anyone know what i can do to locate this 'missing' folder again please? The CD itself is now almost full so i know that the original folder is taking up most of the storage...??! :tup:

You`ve created a multi-session disc and can`t access the first session. This has been discussed loads of times on here and elsewhere. A quick search or Google will explain fully.
