Last couple games I burnt, I try to play them but the screen looks like it's shaking and has some rippling(spelling?) effect.

I use Maxell DVD-R, burnt the games @ 4x with an LG burner w/ DVD Decryptor.

any suggestions in what to do? :confused:

There's your problem, the media your using to burn your games is anything other then Ritek, or Ridata. I Guarantee you will never have any trouble like that if you use media that your ps2 appreciates as well as an original disk:cheers:

get into the tv menu of urs

if its a multisystem tv u should change it from pal or ntsc to AUTO.

then it'll auto detect type of broadcasting.. (ntsc / pal)

im a newb and just bought sony dvd rws am i gonna have a problem burning games?

no problems burning them,but you might have problems loading them
dvd-rw's can damage the laser
