Tried backing up LSWII 3 times but it won't work properly in my moded PS2. Not sure what mod chip I have but it's an older one and I have to use the swap method (using Swap Magic for DVD). I tried using Nero and Alcohol 120% to burn and I tried 2 types of DVD+R. Game will boot up (but very difficult to get started, have to try many times usually). Once I do get it to boot I can go to the menu screen and select my save game, the game will load and I can walk around the first area just fine but when I go to play a level it will start loading and just "hang" and never start the level.

Any ideas? Has anyone sucessfully backed up a working copy of LSW II? If so please post exactly what method was used.

If I've had problems in the past (very rarely) the copy either worked or didn't it would not start up then stop working so I am stumped.

I don't think I'm doing anything wrong because I've done it many times before, in fact I just backed up Shadow of the Colossus using the exact same method and so far (through the first few levels) it's working perfectly. Are there some games with "tougher" copy protection that could cause this to happen, this is after all a game that just came out.
