So I've been having trouble getting copies to work...

Whenever I'm burning a DVD, I set burn speed at 1x. Then when the burning begins, it goes ahead and does it at 4x. I've also tried setting it at 2x and 2.4x...but it still burns at 4x. This happens in Nero and DVDdecrypter. How can a force a slower burn speed? I have the latest firmware and all that jazz for my drive if that makes a difference.
