How do I make a copy of a CD-ROM onto my hardrive, so I can play the game without having the CD-ROM in the drive. What program should I use?

I know about alcohol and virtual drives. But I just dont know how to make a ISO file of the actual CD-ROM.

Please help. Thanks.

An ISO is just a CD image, just about any burning program can make them like Nero and CDBurnerXP etc, as can dedicated ISO programs like UltraISO etc.

The easiest way though is to just install the game normally, then download a No CD patch for it so it doesn't require the disc.

Just use a search engine, for example "the sims no cd patch"

You normally have to download the correct version for your game, but they just about all come with instructions.
