I have seen this servral times that if you disconnect a CD drive on a vista machine problems will go away as if you it is connected your preformance and boot of computer is just real slow and laggy...

i was just wondering if anyone else has seen this kind of issue?

never mind the issue ended up being drive priorty... sorry about that:idea:
