I-Tunes & Lacie 16/10/24 pocket drive????
will i-tunes support it? soon???
not even the qps 24/10/40 is supported yet...

So i wanted to get a new cd-rw to replace a slow scsi 4x2x4 yamaha on my scsi otto xpress card --anyway here i go : )

I started with the (((••qps 24/10/40))), excelent mechanism (plexter)but CPUs come with burners and this is large, nice looking though, but for me it wont fit in my pocket book & its heavy: /

so i looked into the portables, freecom, Lacie and smart disc?

••SMARTDISC, solid, i-tunes compatible, light, only firewire and does not come with CD's and a power cable? cant daisy chain more then 2 firewire devices if so you will need to purchase there power supply adapter & smart disk will releas a 16x speed version in March 2002 great till then??....

••FREECOM-expensive,realy over priced!! but a battery and playback of MP3 cds makes it a portable computer, but hey a dvd player combo and a bit cheaper would make it worth getting right?, especialy with rca to T.V. out and expandibility for PCMA/USB/etc.?

but my decision as of FEBUARY 2002 is the LaCie 16/10/24 pocket drive!!
www.lacie.fr

small, burn proof, FW + USB, comes with CDs and a re writable @ 10xspeeds and a power supply (smartdisk does not), anyway it was expensive but WELL WORTH IT, only problem is that i-tunes does not support it, so when will that happen?????
please let me know??

thought i give you all a revew to share the information, and share it with apple as well for support of i-tunes with the qps 24/10/40, and the LaCie 16/10/24 please let me know any news?
