ImTOO DVD to iPod Converter is a super DVD to iPod transfer software for Apple iPod that can transfer DVD to your iPod directly. Here is the guide:

1. Run DVD to iPod Converter and load DVD. Please choose "Add DVD Folder" in the 'File' menu or directly press the "DVD" button in the main interface, then select your DVD Drive in the pop-up window and press the "OK" button.

2. You can choose to convert either any chapters within a file or the entire file at will.
* If you want to convert the entire file, please follow this way:
(1) Set output format:
In "Profile" drop down list box, you may select output format. The software allows setting different output formats according to different files.

Tips: There are 2 optimized settings for iPod video conversion, iPod (60G) MPEG-4 Movie (*.mp4) and iPod (30G) MPEG-4 Movie (*.mp4). Selecting any of them, you will get iPod MP4 formats directly.

(2) Set conversion mode (Optional) After selecting certain output format, the right column will show its general standard. Clicking certain settings such as 'Zoom', 'Split', 'Destination' and 'Title' etc, you may set it.

Tips: you can set "Bit Rate" by choosing the rate given, such as "512". And the higher the Bit Rate you choose the better the picture you will get. Certainly, you can keep all the above options default without any change.

(3) Start conversion:
Finally, selected the chapter you want to convert and start conversion by right-clicking the file name and selecting 'Rip Selected' under the menu.

* If you want to convert just a chapter, here is the way: After your DVD is loaded into the program, please select the file name and click the "Show Chapters" button in the main interface and then you will see all the chapters within this file. Please select the chapter you want to convert and do the same as the above (1), (2) and (3).

3. And then you will get a file that is ready to be played on your iPod. But how do you add it to your iPod? Here is the way:
(1) Please click 'Open' button after the conversion is completed.

(2) Find the converted file in the destination folder and pull it to your iTunes.

(3) Drag the file onto the iPod logo in the iTunes and then release the mouse when "+" appears around the cursor. The file will be transferred to iPod automatically.

Finally, you are able to enjoy your beloved movies on your iPod breezily!

Well, good site!
And now imtoo have released a series of product design for iphone when iphone released at June 29th
They are seems more powerful and more responsible

As I know that more iphone covert softwares have appeared on the market so earlier. The iphone haven't released why they could know what format and bite rate will be supported. According this I only believe Imtoo's product.

I am an iPod user and whenever I need to convert DVD to iPod, I turn to Wondershare DVD to iPod Ripper, which I googled several months ago and found rather powerful, practical and convenient to use.

Quite easily, it can convert all kinds of DVD movies to iPod video MP4 and iPod audio MP3 and M4A, put DVD on your 30GB or 80GB iPod with 640 by 480 resolution. What's more, it allows you to select the subtitle and audio track of the DVD movie, define the beginning and ending to get any segment of the movie to convert.

nice job man and thanks for the sharing, i've tried different other program...and eventually bought IMTOO, the reason is:
1. easy to use, only a few clicks to put dvd into my iPod
2. very fast, 2 hrs dvd only need 4 mins
3. directly dvd to mp4, no second time conversion needed which saved me lots of time
4. the output mp4 file size is very reasonable, had a good balance between file size and output video quality(while watch in iPod)

You are talking bigger, Squall58, imtoo has cost me more than an hour to rip that dvd, and ended up with a "duplication error", finally I got the wondershare from ***********.ipod-soft.com it worked perfectly for me.

After i tryed many convert software you recommend. I prefer to use Daniusoft DVD to iPod Converter which could convert any DVD(protected DVDs) to iPod in a good quality. Also let me split convert and crop the black edge of DVD ********:tup:

I have tried wondershare, its preview window is bigger than imtoo, but its speed is not very satisfied, in its trial version the video after convert has watermark
I used the prodcut of imtoo 1 years ago, so I still like the imtoo than others
