This forum is great, I have been reading posts for a while but just yesterday I bought a DVD recorder, it is Pioneer DVR 645H-S

I tried to burn to DVD 2 movies that I downloaded from the internet and the first one worked fine, but the second one has this problem, it seems to work but the video is playing slightly slower than the voice, which is going at the normal level, so you can imagine how it is watching the movie and the talking does not match what is on the screen. Both movies are .AVI files.

I used Nero 7 to put these movies onto DVD. Please can you tell me why this could be happening and how to fix this problem

Does the avi file play OK in WMP, if the same the file is faulty

If it plays OK try another program to convert it to DVD.

The file .avi file plays fine in VLC. The DVD has the problems when played in WMP, VLC, Media Player Classic and also in CyberLink Power DVD.

The file seems fine but something is going wrong with the process of transferring it to DVD. Have tried to do it with Nero 7 and last night with ImTOO DVD Creator, which crashed my PC really quickly, actually not so sure about this program, seems dodgy somehow. What software would you recommend for transferring to DVD.

Thanks.
