I cannot seem to get my computer to recongize I have CDRW/DVDRW as well as just my regular CD rom from one of my user accounts under XP Home.

I log into a different user account and it is recongized and I can read and write from either.

Someone mentioned that possibly there is something wrong with my registry.
Anyone seen this problem before?

Create a Restore Point first, then delete the Upper and Lower Filters, and reboot.
