I can burn data files to either CD-R or CD-RW discs, but cannot burn music to either type of disc. So far I've used the HP software that came with the drive, Windows Media Player, Nero and iTunes and they all choke after a couple of minutes and eject the disc. (iTunes gives a 4300 error message).

Any ideas?

Best way is to post the Nero log after it fails, and I'll have a look at it for you.
