Alright I just upgraded my computer. Had Win 98se, with a few glitches and I burned files onto CD-R's using Adapted Easy CD Creator. The CD's are burned, I can see where the data was burned on BUT when I put them into any other computer, including the upgraded one, windows says the CD is blank. PLEASE help!! All of my pictures, files etc are on these CD's is there any way to get the files back off?

Did you finalise the disc when it was made, if not this is why you can't access anything.

Usually you can only finalise a disc on the same comp it was burnt with, but you have now changed it from win98 to XP.


You could try and see if you can extract the files from the disc with something like PowerISO or IsoBuster etc or similar prog.
